Broadway Hotel
The Broadway Hotel can be found listed on the 1888 Sanborn map at 223 Broadway, and in the 1891 Fargo city directory. An advertisement in the same directory lists John P. Dahlquist as proprietor. By 1892, the hotel was owned by Boulger & Sons and was known as the Boulger Hotel. According to the 1888 Sanborn map the building was a three story wood frame structure that would later burn in the 1893 Fargo fire. John P. Dahlquist also operated a flour and feed company, and would later become proprietor of the New Fargo House hotel.
