The entries are usually short, telling what he did each day or where he was. The diary continues with his move to McLean County near the Emmet, N.D. post office. The entries document his establishing a homestead farm, interaction with neighbors, social events. Names of others are given in diary. The diary concludes on the day of his marriage to Rachel K. Hanson, November 4, 1907.en_US
