dc.description.abstractCopy of speech given by John Brunsdale at the 2nd annual Conference on Value-Added Opportunities for Agricultural Producers, held at Stillwater, Oklahoma on April 25, 1998, along with a photocopy of the program. The speech was sent, along with a letter, by Brunsdale to Dr. Tom Riley, Institute for Regional Studies. In the letter Brunsdale takes issue with the accuracy of the Institute publication, Roots of Success, by Terry Shoptaugh, regarding the Red River Valley Cooperative and the building of its sugar beet factory at Hillsboro, N.D.en_US
