"The childhood of parents" (71 typescript leaves) by Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery documents the life of their family in North Dakota, particularly of their children, moving to Wahpeton in 1894 and closing with their move to Edmonton. Other items include a tribute to R.S. Adams of Lisbon, N.D. (2 leaves), Mr. Montgomery's obituary and photocopies of family portraits.
