dc.description.abstract | The Doin’ Dozen Homemakers Club organized in September of 1957, with seven charter members, then increasing in membership to 12, making it a dozen. The club kept the name of the Homemakers Club as long as it was associated with the Extension Service of NDSU. The club cooperates with the Extension Service of NDSU and the U.S. Department of Agriculture in making information available to as many homes as possible in the community. The purpose of the club is study and to put into practice information and different phases of homemaking, in addition to promote a desirable community life. | en_US |
