| dc.description.abstract | The records of the Fargo Moorhead All-America City 2000 Committee concern the committee's successful campaign for Fargo, N.D. and Moorhead, Minn. jointly to be declared an All-America City in 2000. The campaign began in late 1999 and picked up speed in early 2000 when the sponsor organization, the National Civic League, declared Fargo Moorhead a finalist. The Fargo Moorhead committee presented at the national competition for finalists in Louisville, Kentucky in early June, 2000. On the basis of that presentation, the National Civic League declared Fargo Moorhead an All-America city. | en |
