Abstract
Photocopy of typescript reminiscence by Mr. Engerud regarding growing up in Fargo, N.D. at the turn of the 20th century. He describes the town of Fargo, brother Karl, brother Louis and his Leghorn chickens, politics, assassination of President McKinley, and the Fargo water supply before the filtration plant in 1911. There is also a cover letter by Engerud to an Edith and Horace regarding his reminiscence. The letter is dated March 4, 1975.

Abstract
Photocopies of letters written to and from Mr. and Mrs. H. Norman Harrison, beginning with a letter to his son in May 1904 from Pembina before his family had arrived to serve the local Episcopal parish. He apparently quickly contracts a disease that causes him to live in Iowa and later Denver where he died in Sept. 1906. His family remained at Pembina for some time but moved to Denver before his death.
