The Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, NDSU Libraries, premieres the new traveling exhibit, “Building Life and Home on the Prairie: German-Russian Homesteads of North Dakota” on April 18, 5-7pm at St. Paul’s Newman Center, Fargo, ND. This event also includes a panel discussion about the exhibit and the life of Father William C. Sherman. Please RSVP by April 7th if you plan to attend.
We are excited to present the new traveling exhibit, Building Life and Home on the Prairie: German Russia Homesteads of North Dakota, highlighting the work of Father William C. Sherman, a celebrated reverend, scholar, and educator in North Dakota.

Father Phillip Ackerman, of Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo, served as an associate pastor with Sherman from 1980 to 1984 at St. Michael’s Church.
