The GRHC is currently temporarily closed for renovation (learn more here).
Staff are available and happy to assist researchers via email or by appointment.
GRHC’s new traveling exhibit, “Building Life and Home on the Prairie,” is currently on display at:
Prairie Village Museum, Rugby, ND, until August 21.
Harold Schafer Heritage Center, Medora, ND, until September 8. This second exhibit is thanks to a generous gift from the Mike and Peggy Bullinger Family.
We pleased to announce a new online exhibit, Building Life and Home on the Prairie, curated by Wyatt Atchley, GRHC Graduate Assistant. The exhibit showcases the material and architectural culture of early German-Russian settlers in North Dakota and provides a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about their heritage and history.
