Located in the NDSU West Building, the NDSU Archives is a unique component of NDSU’s commitment to education, research and public service.

The NDSU Archives has two distinct archival collections, the Institute for Regional Studies Archives, which collects, preserves and makes accessible unique and rare historical materials that provide resources for the study of North Dakota and the region and the University Archives, which serves as the institutional memory of NDSU by collecting and making accessible records of enduring historical and administrative value. Together they promote the use of these materials by the NDSU community, scholars and the public towards the advancement of scholarship.

Semester Hours and Exceptions

The NDSU Archives follows the same calendar as the main campus and offices are closed on the same observed days. For a full list of dates and holiday observances, visit the Office of Registration and Records website.
