Some of our popular resources include:

  • Academic Video Online (AVON): This video streaming service offers academic and leisure options for everyone including documentaries, tutorials, and even feature films.
  • Chronicle of Higher Education: The Chronicle of Higher Education has the nation’s largest newsroom dedicated to covering colleges and universities.
  • Digital Horizons: Featuring items from our Special Collections, browse thousands of images, documents, videos, and oral histories depicting life on the Northern Plains from the late 1800s to today.
  • New additions to the collection: Check back weekly for new books, media, and other materials the Libraries has added within the past six months. You can also browse the New Books Collection on the upper floor of the Main Library.
  • Newspapers: Enjoy reading daily news in print form from popular sources at the Main Library (not available for checkout).
  • The New York Times Online: Get unlimited access to industry-leading journalism from one of the world’s greatest newspapers. You can even get daily updates delivered right to your inbox.
  • OverDrive: For mobile reading and listening, borrow digital content like popular eBooks, audiobooks, comics, and magazines. If a title you are interested in is not available, recommendations are welcome.
  • In addition, you can search the Libraries’ catalog for popular DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs to enjoy. Browse in person at the Main Library for DVDs (located near the admin office) CDs and audiobooks (located on the upper floor).
  • Shott Collection: The Shott Collection includes award-winning and popular fiction and non-fiction books on all subjects including travel, science, history, exercise, food, and much more. The collection is located in the Weber Reading Room at the Main Library.
  • Young Readers Collection: Featuring award-winning and diverse books geared towards children ages eight and under, this collection has something to offer any young reader. Find it near the Reference Desk and computer cluster area on the main floor of the Main Library.
  • GoPro cameras, USB cords, laptop chargers, and more are also available for checkout.
