February 7, 2022
February is Dating Violence Awareness Month. This year the Violence Prevention Educators and Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy are hosting a food drive to highlight the connection between Dating or Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and food insecurity. IPV and food insecurity are often linked and studies have shown ‘higher odds of IPV among those reporting more severe food insecurity’. To support this event, you can donate items between February 14–28. All donations benefit the NDSU Goods for the Herd Food Pantry. Visit bit.ly/VPEFoodDrive for a list of needed items.
Please consider bringing items to a drop-off location on campus:
- Main Library
- Student Activities Office in the Memorial Union
- Barry Hall Room 102D
- Dean of Students Office, Old Main 100
- Women & Gender Studies, Morrill Hall 114
