Happy National Transfer Student Week!
Transfer students come to NDSU in a variety of ways and from many other types of colleges, universities and backgrounds. Here at the Libraries, we know that, while each of your stories is unique, you share a strong commitment to pursuing your education with determination and resilience. As a former transfer student myself, I know that the support that librarians provide to incoming transfer students can help ease their transition to studying at a research institution. Connect with us to get an overview of the types of services and support we can provide, to get familiar with the resources we have available for your major, and how to use them effectively and efficiently.
We’re here to support you no matter where you are! Find the librarian who works with your major to ask a question or request a meeting—we are happy to meet with you one-on-one to support your specific research needs. On the Libraries’ website you can find guides to research materials in your major and quick tutorials about a variety of topics from finding a book on the shelf, to advanced topics about citation management and more. Finally, transfer students can also be distance students—find more information about how the Libraries can support you here.
We look forward to meeting you!
