NDSU Office of Teaching and Learning recently featured an article written by NDSU Libraries Social Sciences Librarian, Al Bernardo, in their We Learn Together Blog. The article is titled, Supporting Students Introduction to Research.

The transition to the expectations of college research is a significant change from students' previous experience. Bernardo shares tips to help provide them with a supportive, inclusive introduction to research at the college level. He goes over topics like introducing students to the library research process, introducing them to scholarly literature, and the influence instructors have on student’s perceptions of research.
