October is American Pharmacists Month, and we celebrate NDSU’s School of Pharmacy students and faculty. Pharmacists are essential members of health care teams, not only dispensing medication but providing health screenings, immunizations, and promoting overall health. At NDSU Libraries, in collaboration with the College of Health Professions, we have a number of pharmacy-focused databases to help pharmacy students get the drug and health information they need:
Find in-depth information on different medications and their ingredients, effects, dosing, administration, interactions and more.
Use this to find information on herbal products and commonly used supplements in complementary and alternative medicine. Natural Medicines includes information on how different products are used, the evidence-base for them, safety, dosing, and interactions.
AccessPharmacy and AccessMedicine
These ebook libraries contain numerous titles on many different topics, such as pharmacology, biochemistry, epidemiology, ethics, law and management. Also includes helpful books for students about study skills and test reviews.
