Local and Historic Online Resources
May 2020

The Libraries offer open access to many local and historic resources online that are both unique and invaluable.

NDSU Libraries are partners in the Digital Horizons consortia, which offers historic resources from the Red River Valley and across the state. Resources made available by NDSU are free to access and include historic documents and photographs. Other resources include those from the North Dakota State Library, the State Historical Society, and our Tri-College partners.

The NDSU Repository has an even wider variety of resources available including the student newspaper, The Spectrum, selected government documents, campus and department newsletters including It’s Happening at State, a University Relations publication providing news and events of interest to the NDSU community. Student and faculty research is also available such as dissertations, videos, theses, and papers. The Repository is an important tool for preserving NDSU’s legacy.

For questions about these resources or any library resources or services, contact your subject librarian.
