“By the Light of the Moon,” A Play by Timothy J. Ray

It involves Minnie Craig giving a campaign speech in 1923 in north central North Dakota while making her first run for public office, the North Dakota House of Representatives. Other main character is Ina Brickner (later Ina Cook), a Nonpartisan League volunteer from Fargo, N.D. Mrs. Craig did win the election and became the first woman elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives.
