Outreach is one of the most important things the GRHC does. We want to connect with and make connections between Germans from Russia, as well as promote the heritage of the Germans from Russia.
As a Land Grant University, outreach provides important education with the Germans from Russia community to inform and share the work of the GRHC. Outreach includes traveling exhibits, events and activities (primarily in North Dakota), German Kulturfest, Germans from Russia Heritage Society conventions and community anniversaries. GRHC has worked closely with Prairie Public television with the production of the award-winning Germans from Russia Documentary Series and the Prairie Public radio Germans from Russia Radio Series.
