The sixth digitized ledger of Fargo City Council meeting minutes covering the dates of July 20, 1896 – July 20, 1900. The meeting minutes give a good, detailed account concerning the operation of Fargo city government for the period. This volume contains 638 pages of handwritten text. The time period covered in this ledger, is highlighted by the extensive changes to city infrastructure such as a water works, water mains, sewer systems, electric lighting, electric plant, street maintenance, sidewalk construction, management of parks, police department, fire departments, Red River flooding, and the formation of various city ordinances.
