An autographed photo of aviator Florence Klingensmith has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives photograph collections. Included with the photo is a newspaper clipping reporting here feet of making 1,078 loops in Minneapolis, as well as a signed envelope, sent via air mail, in which Miss. Klingensmith included her nickname “Tree Tops”.

The book, North Dakota Wood Carvers by Arley H. Olson, has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection. The following was taken from the cover page, “The purpose of this book is to document the history and show the known items that was produced by Telle Rudser, Ole (The Hermit) Olson, and Thomas (Thos.) Hansen, three North Dakota Scandinavian carvers.”
