The book, Justice Was Swift: Tales of the Old West. Stories of the Law and the Lawless in Western Dakota 1867-1910, by Marlan L. Hvinden, has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.
The 192 page book is a collection of stories about horse rustling, military forts, robberies and murders, mail rides, and Sitting Bull’s summer camp.
