Recently added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection is the publication, Growing Up In The Valley: A Nodak Babyboomer. This 202 page softcover book is a childhood memoir of Nancy Borgeson Hvinden. It recounts her early years growing up on a Walsh County farm, and her grade school years in Grand Forks between 1952-1964.
