McDonough, M.D., has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.

The following comes from the introduction: “On January 6, 1994, Senator Byron Dorgan sent letters to Secretary of Energy Hazel O’Leary and Dr. John Rice, State Health Officer, requesting information and assistance concerning atmospheric nuclear testing and fallout.  Senator Dorgan specifically requested the North Dakota Department of Health and Consolidated Laboratories (NDSCHCL) study possible health effects of Nuclear fallout.”  This publication is a result of the study.  Thank you to the West Fargo Public Library for transferring this book to the collections of the Institute.
