James A. Murray Vietnam War letters home, added to Digital Horizons

A series of 49 Vietnam War letters have been digitized, transcribed, and added to the North Dakota Historic Documents collection on Digital Horizons.  The letters were written by James A. Murray to his family back home in North Dakota.  The letters range from his time in basic training to his time on the front lines.  One really gets a sense of a scrappy young man, who grows and matures as he witnesses the realities of war. 


Fargo City Council Meeting Minute, 1889-1893 on Digital Horizons

The fourth digitized ledger of Fargo City Council meeting minutes covering the dates of January 7, 1889 to February 27, 1893, has been uploaded to Digital Horizons.  The ledger has 638 pages of handwritten  content, which has been transcribed making the ledger term searchable. .


1916 NDAC Agassiz yearbook uploaded to Digital Horizons

The 1916 Agassiz yearbook for the North Dakota Agricultural College, has been mounted onto Digital Horizons – NDSU-NDAC Historic Documents collection.  The yearbook is 294 pages, with photos and short bios of students.  Photos and member lists for organizations on campus. Photos and synopsis of each athletic team's performances throughout the year. Section containing faculty names and a short description of each department at NDAC.


Fargo Downtown Oral History Project Mounted

The NDSU Archives have mounted 17 audio interviews produced as part of an oral history project entitled, A Collection of Oral Histories: Downtown Fargo From 1900-1950, conducted between January and May 2002.  The purpose of the project was to document the changes to the downtown community, identifying historic buildings, and tying these buildings to events that affected people’s lives.  The project was sponsored by the Far
