NDSU's sixth annual Giving Day is Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Giving Day falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is part of a national day of philanthropy. This one-day, online fundraising event brings supporters together to help transform North Dakota State University.

This year, our focus for Giving Day is on improving the function and aesthetic of the Digital Fabrication Lab in the Main Library. The Digital Fabrication Lab is a student-centered workspace that provides the tools, training, and support needed to design and produce prototypes and projects. Earlier this year, a group of NDSU Interior Design students created a proposal to redesign the lab as a class project. The revamped Digital Fabrication Lab and addition of the Collaboration Suite will allow students to express their creativity, learn new skills, and showcase their talents. To see renderings of the proposed project and more information, please visit the DFL Redesign webpage. We are very excited and inspired by the students’ vision for the Digital Fabrication Lab and ask for your support to help bring their proposal to fruition by donating to the Digital Fabrication Lab Fund this Giving Day.

You can also support the Libraries by making a gift to the NDSU Archives, the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, or the Friends of the Libraries Fund.

With a gift of $25 or more to any library fund, you will become a member of Friends of the Libraries, a group that shares a passion for their community and a strong appreciation of NDSU Libraries. With a gift of $500 or more, you can become a Founding Member (an opportunity that ends this year) and be honored by the Libraries for helping establish our Friends group.

To learn more about our achievements and activities we invite you to view The Libraries Magazine in the NDSU Institutional Repository.

To make your gift this Giving Day, please visit the Libraries Donor Wall on November 30, 2021. Thank you for your contribution and helping us support our students!
